Congratulations to Arielle Twist, author of Disintegrate/Dissociate, who is a finalist for the 2020 Dayne Ogilvie Prize for LGBTQ Emerging Writers from the Writers' Trust of Canada!

Disintegrate/Dissociate, Arielle's debut poetry collection, navigates through what it means to be an Indigenous trans woman, discovering the possibilities of a hopeful future and a transcendent, beautiful path to regaining softness. Published in 2019, it won the 2020 Indigenous Voices Award for published poetry, and was shortlisted for the Publishing Triangle Award for Trans and Gender Variant Literature.

This year's other worthy finalists for the Dayne Ogilvie Prize are Robyn Maynard and Smokii Sumac.
