How to send us a proposal (please read carefully!)

We appreciate your interest in Arsenal Pulp Press. Please understand that we are a small independent press that receives many unsolicited manuscripts, so it is essential that you know your book will suit our publishing program (see above) and that you follow the submission guidelines below. (The majority of submissions we receive are good books, but just not the type that we publish, or the submissions do not follow the guidelines and therefore slow down the process.)

Each submission must include: a synopsis of the work, a chapter by chapter outline for non-fiction, writing credentials, a 50-page excerpt from the manuscript (do not send more, it will be a waste of postage; if we like what we see, we'll ask for the rest of the manuscript), and a marketing analysis. (Not sure what a marketing analysis is? Try Googling "market analysis for books" to get some tips and see some examples.) If our editorial board is interested, you will be asked to send the entire manuscript.

We will accept simultaneous submissions, but we request that you advise us if this is the case.

We prefer to receive submissions by email to submissions@arsenalpulp.com.

We will try to respond within three to six months of receiving your material.

We are unable to to discuss potential projects or provide submission updates by phone.

If you prefer to send your submission by mail, send to:
