Butter Honey Pig Bread by Francesca Ekwuyasi has been longlisted for the €100,000 DUBLIN Literary Award, the world's richest literary prize for a single work.

The book was one of 79 titles longlisted, announced January 31. The DUBLIN Literary Award is presented annually for a novel written or translated into English. Titles are nominated on the basis of high literary merit as determined by the nominating library.

This is the latest accolade for Francesca's book, which was shortlisted for a Lambda Literary Award, the Governor General's Literary Award for Fiction, and the Amazon Canada First Novel Award, and longlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize. It was also runner-up in the 2021 edition of CBC's Canada Reads.

Congratulations, Francesca!
