Francesca Ekwuyasi and Joshua Whitehead: Lambda Literary Award finalists
Congratulations to our Lambda Literary Award finalists Francesca Ekwuyasi (Butter Honey Pig Bread) and editor Joshua Whitehead and contributors (Love after the End: An Anthology of Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer Speculative Fiction)!
Butter Honey Pig Bread is a finalist in the category of lesbian fiction. It was the runnerup in this year's Canada Reads competition, and was longlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize.
Love after the End is a finalist in the category of LGBTQ anthology. Joshua is the author of Jonny Appleseed, this year's Canada Reads champion.
Winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on June 1.
