Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, Tea Mutonji, Kai Cheng Thom, Arielle Twist: Publishing Triangle Award finalists


Four Arsenal Pulp Press titles have been named finalists for the 2020 Publishing Triangle Awards!

Kai Cheng Thom's essay collection I Hope We Choose Love: A Trans Girl's Notes from the End of the World and Arielle Twist's debut poetry collection Disintegrate/Dissociate are shortlisted for the Publishing Triangle Award for Trans and Gender-Variant Literature.

Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha's poetry book Tonguebreaker is a finalist for the Audre Lorde Lesbian Poetry Award. Leah's previous two books with Arsenal, Dirty River and Care Work, were also shortlisted for Publishing Triangle Awards.

And finally, Tea Mutonji's story collection Shut Up You're Pretty is a finalist for the Edmund White Debut Fiction Award. Shut Up You're Pretty was also shortlisted for the Rogers Writers' Trust of Canada Fiction Prize last year.
