Forward by Lisa Maas: ALA Stonewall Honor Book winner
Forward, Lisa Maas' debut graphic novel, has been named a Stonewall Honor Book for the Barbara Gittings Literature Award by the American Library Association.
The award winners, presented the ALA's GLBT Round Table, were announced at the ALA's Midwinter Meeting in Seattle, WA on January 30. The Barbara Gittings Literature Awards are presented to authors of adult fiction titles with LGBTQ content. Forward was the only graphic novel to be so recognized this year.
