Tea Mutonji's Shut Up You're Pretty is on the Canada Reads longlist
Shut Up You're Pretty, the debut short story collection by Tea Mutonji, is on the Canada Reads longlist for 2024!
Published in 2019 as the inaugural title in Vivek Shraya's VS. Books imprint, Shut Up You're Pretty has a long list of accolades, including the Trillium Prize and the Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction from the Publishing Triangle. It was also shortlisted for the Rogers Writers' Trust of Canada Fiction Prize.
The Canada Reads shortlist will be announced on January 11.
