East Side Story featured on Stir Vancouver
Nick Marino's East Side Story is featured on Stir Vancouver. Published in August 2023 under Charles Demers' comedy imprint Robin's Egg Books, East Side Story is a sly, sentimental, and wickedly funny memoir about growing up at the local fair.
Of the book, Stir says, "The book is part memoir and part oral history of the PNE as told by those who worked the fair in summers past. In a larger sense, it's a sincere and often hilarious love letter to an East Vancouver where some things have remained the same through the decades, even as seemingly everything else has changed."
