The Woo-Woo longlisted for the Leacock Medal for Humour
Lindsay Wong's celebrated memoir The Woo-Woo has been longlisted for the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour.
It's the latest accolade for Lindsay's book, which was recently defended by Joe Zee on CBC's Canada Reads. It was also shortlisted for the Hilary Weston Writers' Trust of Canada Prize for Nonfiction and is a current finalist for the Hubert Evans Nonfiction Prize at the BC Book Prizes.
The Woo-Woo is in good company on the Leacock longlist; others on the ten-book list include books by Eden Robinson and Rick Mercer. Check out the entire longlist here.
