The Woo-Woo is longlisted for Canada Reads
Lindsay Wong's acclaimed memoir The Woo-Woo: How I Survived Ice Hockey, Drug Raids, Demons, and My Crazy Chinese Family has been longlisted for the 2019 edition of CBC's Canada Reads!
Canada Reads, Canada's most popular book debate featuring panelists duking it out in defense of their favorite books, takes place March 28-31, hosted by Ali Hassan.
The Woo-Woo is among 15 great Canadian books longlisted this year. Lindsay's book was shortlisted for the Hilary Weston Writers' Trust Prize for Non-Fiction and was named one of 2018's best books by The Globe and Mail and Quill and Quire.
